This summit is for female entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, and teen-women who want to expand their knowledge and leadership! We want help our participants discover a more fulfilling and sustainable way to be successful in business and in life. Join us at Rowan Tree, during Women's History Month, to learn strategies to balance your business by incorporating our three key holistic pillars: Badass Business, Self-Care & Servant Leadership. During our 1st annual W.H.E.S., skilled and successful presenters from various entrepreneurship backgrounds will bring to life these three pillars of a "Balanced Badass Business." Our presenters will help self-identifying women personally and/or in business in the following:

Our Story
Athena and Tarika met via LinkedIn. Athena managed to find Tarika via a mutual connection! They did a zoom coffee meeting and connected! They realized that their ultimate goals of helping women be healthy and strong leaders was an intrinsic passion. Starting and organizing this summit was a long-term goal for both of them and they are excited to see it become a reality. Their stories toward starting a business and overcoming challenges are unique and therefore brings a unique approach to this summit-- Holistic & BadA$$!

During her years at Cornerstones Nicole acquired and preserved hundreds of affordable housing units which are rented to vulnerable families exiting the shelter. The supportive housing model received many awards under Nicole’s leadership and Nicole was inducted into the Virginia Housing Alliance’s Top 40 Network in 2015 for her innovative work. Nicole is long-standing champion of a client-centered approach with shared accountability to ensure the success of her clients. As a Black Caribbean immigrant who grew up in Northern Virginia, Nicole has been a strong voice in bringing to light to and addressing key issues like generational poverty, undocumented immigrant vulnerabilities, racial disparities and discrimination and segregation in affordable housing. Nicole currently serves on Loudoun County’s Housing Advisory Board as an At-Large member representing the Sterling District. She serves on Inmed Partnerships for Children’s Advisory board and is also a member of the Loudoun Human Services Network Board (recently elected to Vice Chair for 2022-2023). Nicole is a graduate of Palm Beach State College and earned her Housing Development Financial Professional designation through the National Development Council in 2016.
