For 20 years, Pamela has been helping women improve their personal and financial wealth through solid financial life planning. She focuses on helping her clients secure their financial futures so they can sleep well at night.  Pamela has become a strong voice in the area of personal finance for women. Her knowledge in this area has made her a sought-after speaker. She has been quoted in articles in various financial publications.  She has membership in the Million Dollar Roundtable (MDRT). Membership in MDRT is a highly recognized mark of excellence for the most successful in the financial services profession. Pamela holds a Behavioral Financial Advisor designation, awarded to advisors who have undergone training to learn to help clients make financial decisions using a rational, values-based approach. She was featured in the Women in Wealth section of Fortune Magazine November 2020 issue as a top Wealth Manager in the Washington DC metro area.

Sarah is a storyteller and an adventurer who is passionate about helping other women. She grew up with two older brothers and felt most comfortable in the world of boys. Shortly after getting married, Sarah started a Mary Kay business simply to add to her skillset and found herself diving headfirst into the strange world of women.  S he has now spent fourteen years learning about, helping, and encouraging women, and knows this is exactly what God created her to do.  When Sarah isn't teaching about self-care, she can be found hanging with her two kids and husband, with a computer in her lap writing her next book or blog, or at the barn with her horse.  Sarah believes that truly loving others starts with loving yourself.

Leave it to ME, LLC is a full-service event planning company specializing in planning and coordinating end-of-life and life milestone events.  The concept is simple.  Do what it takes to create stress-free unique celebrations for all involved.  Founded by events planning veteran Ladan Madresehee, Ladan began Leave it to ME to answer her calling to create memorable experiences and celebrations for others.  Not really sure what to say about my emcee skills.  Ladan is an aspiring stand-up comic.  Entertaining is part of her virtual and in-person events.

​Athena Scalise Waitt, stroke & cancer-thriver of almost 15 years, former international civil servant (NATO in Rome), has always advocating for wellness and self-improvement due to her own challenges. She has many years of autodidactic and professional certifications and trainings, as follows: doTERRA Wellness Advocate since 2011, certified Holistic Health Coach, certified Emotions Mentor, Essential Oils Specialist, certified in AromaTouch Technique, and newly-minted certified Science of Stretching Yoga flexibility Teacher. Athena has always naturally gravitated towards personal and professional development, with the emphasis on Servant Leadership. She has never shied away from leadership roles (including being a Girl Scout Leader for 15 years), and thoroughly enjoys developing those skills in others as well, as follows: entrepreneur & professional network marketer since early 2000s, motivational speaker and podcast guest, success mentor, and recently certified Coach in Strengths-based Empowerment. Instructor Sethi has a diverse background in leadership, team-building, and martial arts.  She has a Masters in Social Work.  She has worked with State and Local Governments, hospitals, schools, and Peace Corps prior to starting the adventure of being a business entrepreneur.  

Now she excels at being the only Female Martial Arts School Owner in Northern Virginia.

She is currently working on getting a License in Social Work and a 4th Degree Black Belt.  Additionally, she plans to

Having served charities since childhood, Taralyn Tharp Kohler is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, athlete and non-profit leader. Her intense passion for social good led her to launch "Move Your Mission," a boutique consulting firm where she empowers organizations to reach new heights through thought leadership. Her concepts have been published in Grant Watch, Virginia Women’s Magazine, The Connection Newspapers, Around Reston, the Loudoun Women’s Magazine, and Running Magazine. Taralyn currently serves as the Executive Director of CORE Foundation, a Reston based 501(c)3 non-profit, which enables social entrepreneurs to #BeTheChange in the community by providing igniting and supporting charitable projects which address societal needs, build community, and enable positive change. CORE’s charitable projects, called CORE Causes, focus on areas such as homelessness, hunger, veterans support, stem, youth empowerment, and more. CORE also supports the charitable projects of businesses as part of their corporate responsibility. Taralyn is also a member of the National Charity League and the Young Men’s Service League, where she volunteers with her teenage children leaving a legacy of giving back and fostering leadership in our youth. She was awarded the Presidential Volunteer Service Award in 2016 - 2018 for achieving more than 500 hours of community service annually. As a graduate of the Capital Speakers Club of Washington, Taralyn was elected President of her class. For fun, Taralyn represents causes that she is passionate about through triathlon having completed (7) 70.3 Ironman distance triathlons and is currently training for her first full Ironman.

"A native Washingtonian, Lisa Shapiro holds a BA in Psychology and Master’s in Educational Psychology from George Mason University. She is a natural community organizer and integrator with a passion for connecting others. A self-described serial entrepreneur who started her own business at age 18, Lisa launched DCfempreneur in Jan 2019, a community that supports professional female entrepreneurs. DCfempreneur provides opportunities for women entrepreneurs to collaborate, network, share successful strategies, discuss challenges we all face, to help each other grow our businesses, and expand our network throughout the DC area. She is well-known in the community by her go-getter energy and belief that collectively, we are "Better Together" in that when women come together, we can learn more, go further and grow faster when we work together. Since October 2020, she serves as the Program Coordinator for the Innovation Commercialization Assistance Program (ICAP) for the Virginia Small Business development center helping technology startups commercialize their innovations.

She is also the Cohost of the Reel II Real podcast and the host of The Experience, a food and drink show on OURTV network. A mother of two beautiful daughters and a wife to a loving husband. Nicole Morris joined Women Giving Back on September 6, 2016, as the Operations Manager and then was promoted to become the organization’s first Executive Director in June 2019. Nicole’s non-profit career officially started in 2009 when she left an 8-year career in residential property management to pursue community service work with Cornerstones overseeing the management and financial feasibility of the nonprofit’s affordable housing portfolio comprised of scattered site subsidized units.  During her years at Cornerstones Nicole acquired and preserved hundreds of affordable housing units which are rented to vulnerable families exiting the shelter. The supportive housing model received many awards under Nicole’s leadership and Nicole was inducted into the Virginia Housing Alliance’s Top 40 Network in 2015 for her innovative work. Nicole is long-standing champion of a client-centered approach with shared accountability to ensure the success of her clients. As a Black Caribbean immigrant who grew up in Northern Virginia, Nicole has been a strong voice in bringing to light to and addressing key issues like generational poverty, undocumented immigrant vulnerabilities, racial disparities and discrimination and segregation in affordable housing. Nicole currently serves on Loudoun County’s Housing Advisory Board as an At-Large member representing the Sterling District. She serves on Inmed Partnerships for Children’s Advisory board and is also a member of the Loudoun Human Services Network Board (recently elected to Vice Chair for 2022-2023). Nicole is a graduate of Palm Beach State College and earned her Housing Development Financial Professional designation through the National Development Council in 2016. The wife and mother of four children is also an advocate for child growth disorder awareness. This advocacy work holds a special place in her heart as her youngest daughter has a rare form of primordial dwarfism. Nicole has a passion for genealogy work in her spare time, particularly researching the African American genealogy in Loudoun and Fairfax County. Nicole often visits Northern Virginia landmarks with her children, so they understand where their ancestors came from and what their life was like in the region over 100 years ago.
